Probate Administration

Probate is the legal process of administering a decedent’s estate with the probate court. This process includes determining the beneficiaries, management of assets, payment of any debts, creditors and administration expenses, distribution of the remaining assets to the beneficiaries, and determination of homestead. Only assets solely in the decedent’s name and not otherwise disposed of by operation of law or beneficiary designations are subject to probate.

When a loved one passes away it is a very difficult and emotional time for everyone involved.  Often times some estates are very complex and important critical decisions need to be made. We begin right away from the beginning to assist families, beneficiaries and fiduciaries (Personal Representatives and Trustees) to insure they are advised of their rights and duties.  We believe in an efficient, cost effective approach to administering estates and trusts that often avoids any unnecessary family stress or litigation.
