Anne J. McPhee, J.D., LL.M. concentrates her practice to estate planning, wills, trusts and the administration of trusts and estates. Anne is a member of The Florida Bar. She is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a B.A. in Political Science. Anne obtained her law degree at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, as well as an LL.M. in Estate Planning at the University of Miami Graduate School of Law.
Anne serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Foundation of Brevard and is a Past President of the Board of Directors for the Brevard County Estate Planning Council. Anne is a member of the Health First Planned Gift Advisory Council, the Brevard County Bar Association and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Anne was on the Steering Committee for the 11th Annual Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar held at Nova Southeastern University and a former Board member for the West Broward Estate Planning Council and the Professional Advisor’s Committee for the Community Foundation of Broward County. In addition, Anne frequently lectures on estate planning and probate matters.
Anne was named by Florida Super Lawyers magazine as one of the Rising Stars in Florida for 2010 and 2011. No more than 2.5% of the lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers to the Rising Stars list. The selections for Super Lawyers Rising Stars are made by Law & Politics. Each year, Law & Politics undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process based on peer recognition and professional achievement that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by Law & Politics’ attorney-led research staff, and a good-standing and disciplinary check.
